multiuser in a Network

Asked by Oldehove

Is there a (future) possibility to use TC in a network environment by multiple users?

I've tried to run it on a server from client desktops, atm the .tk-file is locked when opened by 1 instance of TC so it is not readable or writable by another instance without blocking the first instance out.

Since it is actually XML I should think this is not a very big issue.

When working on it, it would be nice to have a live (refresh-rate programmable) html-feed for a monitor display ;-)

Well, we do have plans to make Task Coach multi-user, but I can't give you a date.

The locking was implemented to prevent multi-user access. If we would allow multiple people to use the same file, the last one that would save the file would overwrite changes made by other people earlier. So it's not so easy...

Can you help with this problem?
