How do I set up iPhone/iPod/iPad synchronization ?

First, if you're running Windows, you must install Bonjour for Windows from here:

http://support.apple.com/kb/dl999

If you're running Linux, make sure that the Avahi daemon is running and that the libdns-compat package is installed. This is the case for most modern distributions.

In the preferences dialog of Task Coach, check the "Enable iPhone synchronization" option in the "Features" tab. Relaunch Task Coach. Go to the newly created "iPhone" tab in the preferences and fill in a password.

Next, make sure that your computer and your device are on the same network. On the device, tap the "Sync" button in the bottom right part of the screen. The name of your computer should appear in the list after a while. Select it. The synchronization should begin.
