Where is the TaskCoach.ini file saved?

The TaskCoach.ini file is located in (starting with version 1.3.24):

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<yourname>\Application Data\TaskCoach

Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\Users\<yourname>\Application Data\Roaming\TaskCoach

GNU/Linux: /home/<yourname>/.config/Task Coach

Mac OS X: /Users/<yourname>/Library/Preferences

You may need to show hidden files to get to these directories.

Task Coach Portable (all versions): <installation directory>\Data\settings

Note: starting with OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), the Finder hides the Library folder. You can still explore it: launch the Finder, go to your home directory. Type Shift+Cmd+G and enter "Library" (without the quotes).

For older versions (until version 1.3.23) the old locations were:

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<yourname>\Application Data\TaskCoach

Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\Users\<yourname>\Application Data\Roaming\TaskCoach

GNU/Linux: /home/<yourname>/.TaskCoach
