- What software do I need to host my own Tart server?
What do you mean? I am not going to chose it for you, do it yourself. All you need is some machine that accepts SSH logins and knows rsync with some kind of storage. That's it.
(By the way, I use FreeNAS and it has the properties of Awesome.)
