Installation instructions for OSX

I'm trying to build this on OSX, it has quite a lot of dependencies that I'm having a hard time installing... Are there any specific build instructions for OSX that would make this easier?

I don't use osx, I have absolutely no idea how to build on osx, or if it even still builds with the new build system.

http://www.snorp.net/blog/2006/tangerine-with-cocoa.html It looks like you need mono at the very least. I was able to download a dmg of Tangerine 0.3.0 but figured this was probably way too out of date.
