TagPlayer indexes my music library at every startup of the program

The TagPlayer indexes my library at every startup of the program, that takes quit long, while I can't pick a genre in the window. Still the player is able to play tracks, I just don't know if it plays the last selected genres or just any song in the library.
Is the the reindexing normal behaviour or a bug?
I'm running version 0.2.07 from the ppa on maverick.

It's a bug, and I've filed it as such. If in the next version this still happens, re-submit the bug please.
