How to test ping monitor in Tacker

Hi Tacker team,

I am new in Tacker. I have a question and really need your help. Currently, I would like test how ping monitor works. But I have not found how to do it yet. Please let me how I can do it. I installed successfully Tacker and created vnfd and vnf. Every thing is OK.

Hi Shayne:

Thanks for testing Tacker! There is a sample VNFD "sample-vnfd-monitor.yaml" under the devstack/samples directory that uses the ping monitor. If you deploy this VNFD and create the VNF, it will be monitored by ping using the parameters in the VNFD. If you login to the VM and shutdown the interface, or just halt the VM from Nova, you will see it be destroyed/respawned by Tacker.
