Tacker integration in already installed OpenStack

Hello

Quite new to tacker. I was exploring VNFM capabilities. I have several OpenStack deployments running. I would like to incrementally add tacker to it. Still with some issues installing it in a dedicated test server, but it seems a full controller installation. Can I add tucker to an existing Liberty deployment?

Yes tacker can be integrated in to existing OpenStack liberty deployment. Can you let us know the exact error you are facing with the tacker installation?

I have installed tacker following the installation guides, first in a VM and then in a bare server. In both cases I ended up with a brand new controller and the tacker add-in.

I have currently several running Openstack labs, so my goal would not yet another environment, but tacker addition in an existing lab. This is not indicated in the web site. Would you have some documents on how to do this?

Here is the developer's version of deploying tacker in existing OpenStack deployment (Liberty release) for a single-node installation. This is still in the making of being the official installation guide.

Also, we have multisite OpenStack support blueprint https://review.openstack.org/#/c/249085/5/specs/mitaka/multi-vim-feature.rst coming up for Mitaka release where a single Tacker controller can manage mutiple existing OpenStack installations. Basically it voids the need to deploy Tacker on each of the OpenStack controllers and can deploy VNFs remotely. Feel free to provide your comments/thoughts on the spec!
