Installing systemback on Debian 7.6 Wheezy

How do I install systemback utility on Debian 7.6.

I have followed instructions on site:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/systemback
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install systemback

BUT get error
E: Unable to locate package systemback

I am hoping that there is a workaround for Debian since instructions only list Ubuntu versions supported.

Systemback 1.8 (latest version) does not install on Debian 7.6 ... it requires Debian 8.0 ... outputs error "Systemback installation is failed"

I also tried version 1.7 and got the same errors.

I am sorry, but the Systemback version 1.0+ is only compatible with the Debian 8.

Can you help with this problem?
