Change Systemback grub splash screen time on Live USB

I used Systemback to create a Live USB system (I have a Chromebook that I'd like to run directly from the USB using the system that I've configured and backed up using Systemback). The Live USB runs great, but at startup the Systemback grub splash screen with the boot choices (which are at /SBLIVE/boot/grub/grub.cfg) does not automatically time into a selection (as is usual for grub).

I'd like set the time to 2-3 seconds. Normally, I would do this using /etc/default/grub. But that doesn't work with a Systemback Live USB. Is there a way to do this with Systemback?
