fstab.conf not being restored

Asked by Fred

I have noticed recently due to software updates causing system problems, when I restored my system, not only was systemback NOT installed (well it didn't run when I clicked on the icon) (I didn't try console), I also noticed that fstab.conf isn't updated to what my system uses, as I have a couple of extra drives that I have manually added into fstab.conf.

The solution is that I have to make sure that it is changed when I boot an new install live ISO.

The fstab.conf is not a standard system configuration file (only the /etc/fstab). The Systemback just using the stored files in the restore points when restoring/copying/installing the system. But any auto modification is not done. So the Systemback do not add any new information to this file.

Can you help with this problem?
