Cannot mount the ISO to view/copy the contents

Hello,
Keep up the great work, this is one of the best backup systems out there.
Anyway, I am creating a USB installer and are stuck on mounting the ISO image, it just doesn't want to mount. I get an fs issue, see below:
mkdir /tempisomount
sudo mount -o loop -t iso9660 /home/developer
I have tried with and without the -t switch and with and without the -o switch
error is:
wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
Wondering if you may know what I'm doing wrong, thanks?
UPDATE: After testing with another copy of the image it seems the original image was corrupted and was the issue.
