Live ISO for ubuntu server

Asked by Muhammad Ali Nayeem

Hello
I want to generate a iso from my running ubuntu server for backup purpose. I don't have the option to install GUI in the server. If generate an iso following the thread:
 https://sourceforge.net/p/systemback/discussion/proposals/thread/e6e5a8f2
Can I boot from that generated iso to install it into a new server?

Unfortunately, the Systemback does not provide any CLI solution for the Live creation or installation. If you want to backup and restore your server system, the only viable option is the restore point creation (with systemback-cli command).

Thanks a lot. Please refer me a manual for systemback-cli command. Are you referring the following thread?
 https://sourceforge.net/p/systemback/discussion/proposals/thread/e6e5a8f2
How can I use the restore point created in a machine to set up another machine?
Thanks in advance.
