Where is the source or link for the efi-amd64.bootfiles file?

Asked by Tadeo

Hello,
Great tool. Compiled successfully in lab. The problem is that the contents of the file efi-amd64 is some kind of obscure. Where can the source or contents be downloaded. Its not good to run boot binaries allready compiled in unknown systems.
Could you please give some info about this? Ill gladdly contribute with design to the project.
Thanks in advance

The efi-amd64.bootfiles is a highly compressed tar.xz file, contains the (U)EFI boot files (.efi and the GRUB) for the 64-bit systems (using for Systemback Live images). I extracted these files from the official Ubuntu installation media (15.10 .iso image). These utilities are not part of the Systemback. The compilation (in PPA) is too difficult (not worth it), and I can not be defined as a dependency.
