Installation created two links, the only difference is 'gtk+'

Asked by RonCam on 2015-06-11

After installation on an ASUS 701SD netbook, my E17 Start menu has duplicate entries for Systemback.

On one link, the 'execute' line ends with 'gtk+' and on the other, this parameter is missing. Both seem to work equally well, but I don't want two links showing up in the Applications -> System Tools menu -- if it's unnecessary.

To err on the side of caution, I've been using the one with the 'extra' parameter.

Does each link have a different function? Is it OK to delete one of them, without any harmful effects, in the future?
System Information:
Bodhi Linux 3.0 legacy / Enlightenment 17
Systemback version: downloaded today
P.S.: On Qupzillla, the Systemback 'About' page is not allowing a 'select and copy' of the exact version/build number. Is there something different about the way this page is coded, or is this an Enlightenment/Qupzilla issue? Hyperlinks on the same page are functional, however.

Yeah, there is a two different icon:
- For KDE (Qt theme or user setting):
- For any other with GTK+ (GTK+ theme or user setting):
Feel free to delete it (you can hide) that you want.

The version text selection is disabled, but now I enabled it in the next version (1.5). :-)

I gather from that, that we could just try each and see which matches 'the theme' for the desktop? It's only a matter of appearance, then?

Yes, this is just a theme setting. And you can override it in the Settings menu.

Can you help with this problem?
