Preserve Restore Points from deletion by moving them into the 'Highlighted Restore Points' column

The Summary/Subject line says it all.

I assume it changes the Restore Point's functionality in some way, but what's happening when this is done? As well, the change seems to be irreversible.

I checked both this forum plus the Internet (with four different search engines!) and cannot find the answer, so I now ask for Kendek's help.

The highlighted restore points aren't deleted automatically when a new temporary is created. They can only be deleted manually. That's it.
