can I reboot using SYstemback on pen drive?

Asked by Borsci

Buon giorno,
Roberto

Good Morning,
I installed Ubuntu 14.04, which worked great until I installed new programs. Now on reboot I get only the desktop without unity and without the top bar, and I can not even launch the terminal. From a folder on the desktop I can access the computer.
How can I access systemback to restore a system image before?
Thank you very much for your courteous reply.
Roberto

Hi,

If you have a restore point, just switch to tty1 (Ctrl+Alt+F1) and use systemback-cli command after login. If the systemback-cli package isn't installed, then install it first.
If you have a Live system image, just start and perform a system repair or system copy.

Can you help with this problem?
