SystemBack customization

Asked by Nanni Bassetti

I found how to change the splash image, but I need to know if is it possible to customize the login and loading theme using, for instance, playmouth or something else. Is it possible to have a customized live distro with SystemBack in that sense?
Thanks

Yes. Just create a restore point before customize installed system, and create a Live image. Finally, restore the system to original state.

I don't need to restore the original point, I need that my live distro has a plymouth theme as I build in my installed Linux...so you are saying that if I customize a loading/login/shutdown theme, when I create a live distro with SystemBack, I'll got that theme in my new live ...is it correct?
Thanks a lot
PS: SystemBack makes an ISO ready to boot in computers with UEFI and SecureBoot activated?

Yes, Live system = installed system, so if you customising the latter before creating Live image, the changes will be included.
Systemback is UEFI ready, yeah (but only 64-bit system), and (probably) works with SecureBoot if you are using the appropriate Linux kernel (linux-signed-image-generic). But if the original system isn't supported UEFI, then the Live installer (Systemback) doesn't install a bootloader, as it is missing (grub-efi-amd64-bin) from Live image (and vice versa).
