Requesting information about Gazelle and its card reader

Greetings.

I would like to ask a few questions.

First: Is the Gazelle system a Compal FT00?

Secondly: How did you manage to make the card reader work in Ubuntu?

This subject is quite a distress for many FT00 Ubuntu users, like myself!

Hi, Tiago.

You can download our System76 driver and run it. That should get your card reader working.
The driver is a Python app, and it is open source, so you can crack it open and see what we've done.

Make sure you're connected to the Internet.

From a command line, enter:
sudo wget http://planet76.com/repositories/system76-driver-2.1.7.deb
sudo dpkg -i system76-driver-2.1.7.deb

Then go to System > Administration > System 76 Driver
Click the restore tab and restore button.

Reboot your computer.
