Use maven to build the project

Asked by anthony43

Hello all,
First, congrats to the team for the idea ! an open source dropbox in Java ! cool !
So, it seems to be written in Java, and I noticed you're using ant to build the project, keeping in alib directory a bunch of dependencies.
Is there any reason why you' re not using maven ?
if there is no reason, I could volunteer to convert the build to Maven ! and document it (btw, in Netbeans you have great maven support, and also in command line, it is just a matter of typing mvn clean install to build, and launch your tests).
Best regards,
Anthony

Hallo Anthony,

Julien started a Maven branch [1] and tried to make the plugins to real modules. If you'd like to help, why don't you contact him and ask if there is anything you can do?

I have no experience in Maven but after briefly looking into it, I think it's the best way to go!

Cheers,
Philipp
