no mate terminal in search

Asked by Ryan

(Synapse 0.2.8.2 on Linux Mint 13 MATE 64-bit)

When I start up Synapse, and start type "terminal", I don't see an entry for the terminal (command mate-terminal). On ubuntu, I would see such an entry (but that was for the gnome-terminal I think).

If it's any help, there *is* a .desktop file in /usr/share/applications for the MATE terminal.

Any help?

In /usr/share/applications/mate-terminal.desktop comment out the line with "OnlyShowIn=MATE", this worked for me
