same quesition?

if i undestund correctly synapse use zeitgesit which use jurnal to track folder/ files access, if this is correct why my audio tracks on ntfs partition are never listed in synapse? i allready accessed them through nautilus few time before.
i am confused
any dev?

Looking at a folder with nautilus is not a real "access", the real access is when you play the file.

Though the player has to be "compatible" with Zeitgeist, or it has to have a Zeitgeist plugin.

In example for Rhythmbox you need to install zeitgeist-datasource-rhythmbox (you can find that package in the Zeitgeist PPA)

ok,
i wasn't mention before I tryed open audio file with audacious , but same things happens! for what i see in source code there is no support for audacious yet, or even on audacious offical page there is no plugin for zeitgeist.

any info?
thx

Afaik Audacious is not supported yet.
And if I'm not wrong Zeitgeist logs events pushed into GtkRecent,
so Audacious could use simply GtkRecent to get ZG compatibility!

Can you help with this problem?
