Monitor-resolution can't be chenged, there is only 640/400 offered

After Istallation in VirtualBox on my iMac to try this system I cant change the Monitor resolution. The system-tool offers only a "Build-in-Display" with 640X480 3:4 resolution. I also have OpenSuse and Windows installed but only ElementaryOS dont allow me to change the resolution - neither to the 27"-MacResolution of 2560X1440 or any other. What can I do to get different Resolutions.

To be able to change the display resolution you must first to install Virtualbox Guest Additions on Elementary OS guest.
