screen brightness keyboard shortcut

After browsing all the options for keyboard shortcuts, there aren't any options to bind keys to change screen brightness for a laptop. Custom keyboard shortcuts are also missing, so it's not possible to use that as a workaround. I'm using a Macbook 6,1 (late 2009 white unibody). I also have nvidia-331-updates installed. Is there a package I can install to enable screen brightness shortcuts? If not, when will there be an update that will add screen brightness shortcuts?

Hi Chris,

I went ahead and created a bug report under Switchboard's page for this. You can find it here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/switchboard/+bug/1446011

Feel free to check up on it there and leave any comments. It's a good idea to go ahead and file a bug report for any missing features you'd like seen in future releases. The developers will review them and it will give the best chance of it being implemented.
