HIDPI display support

I just recently bought an Asus k200ma laptop which has UEFI and windows 8.1. I uninstalled windows 8 but then realized that elementary OS doesn't support my display. Now I can't return my laptop and I don't have an OS. Please bump HIDPI display support up on your to do list. It needs to be done now not in two years. I am not e only one that wants this.
