I think the most adopted and supported method to add a swift-api on top of ceph backend storage is via rados gateway

different approaches like adding a ceph backend diskfile for swift object servers have come and gone through the years, but for various reasons I guess ultimately those projects fell out of active maintenance before reaching maturity and production adoption.

I also know of a number of (large-ish?) big data teams that maintain both a swift cluster and many ceph clusters in order to round out their storage offering.

My openstack is working, so I can't replace swift with ceph .
It's bad for me.
