Size of disks on a Proxy Server

Asked by Ian Porter

Is there a recommendation for the size of hard disk on a proxy server. I'd assume its relatively small but, for example, would a 1 TB disk be sufficient. Would you recommend using RAID?

It's a good idea to do a RAID 1 with hot swaps if possible for the OS drive. The proxy.log and proxy.error logs are stored there until they are rotated off and stored inside the cluster. So the size needed depends on the number of requests processed.

But a 1TB drive should be sufficient.
