OpenStack Object Storage (swift)

which OS to use

Just getting started....

Ubuntu has a "Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud" OS and the "Ubuntu Server" OS. I assume that the cloud is going to be handled by Swift, so do I install the Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud or just the Ubuntu Server?

Swift should work with any OS that satisfies the prerequisites. We usually develop and deploy in production on "Ubuntu Server" OS.
