Current release in Ubuntu 8.04 is 0.6.0

Is Ubuntu 8.04 going to upgrade to 0.6.6 version?

Ubuntu 8.04 has 0.6.4-2.
The mozilla plugin is 0.6.0-2ubuntu1, which is the latest available version.
