Can't install, doesn't see proper partitions
Asked by

I am trying to install on Zareason Notebook. I have 3 extended partitions and a primary but it only shows me the whole drive as one partition and I don't want to use the whole drive. I cleared one of the extended partitions but it doesn't show me that choice. I don't want to take a chance of wiping out my other partitions!
All the other Ubuntu systems show me all partitions and I can choose the one to install on. I need to know what is different with your installer.
I use Partition Magic 6.3 and can see all my partitions.
