"Skip all" for "File already exists" prompt

Asked by Ano Nym

Hi Subdownloader Team,

first of all, you guys created a marvelous piece of software for non-native-speaking movie and series junkies.
I can't imagine doing all the searching myself all these years ;)

One feature that many programs (even leading operating systems) often miss is the possibility to choose "Skip all" when a file already exists. You always have "Skip", "Replace" and "Replace all", why no "Skip all"?

To be clear, by "Skip all", I mean that it automatically skips the files which are recognized as already existing and downloads non-existing subtitles, not the same as "Cancel".

Imagine the case (quite my default use) that you download a new episode of a series you follow. When you choose the containing folder and search for subs, the program finds the subs for all files in the folder, for most of them the subs already exist. Now I have 2 options: choose "Replace all" and download all of them again or hit the "Skip" button until my fingers bleed ;)

Aside of a "Skip all" button, this problem would be addressed by a "choose all" resp. "choose none" button for the sub list. This way I could hit "choose none" and then just check the box for the new episode.

Another "nice-to-have" feature (probably just for me) would be setting the attribute "hidden" automatically after downloading and renaming. I like my subs stay out of sight in folders.

Thanks for constantly improving your services,
HypnoToad
