We'll release a Windows binary with the bug fix very very soon. Tonite probably.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Will it be posted here, or on the main site? The program looks cool but I can't use it at all since I cannot login..

Any follow-up on the bug? I still can 't login, don't really feel like paying for software that doesn't work, quite frankly.

Hi JosPierre, since 2 days ago I was able to log-in using SubDownloader, have you installed latest version 2.0.11 ?

Best Regards.

Same problem here, haven't been able to login (Users online: ERROR | Login: ERROR) for several days now.

Each time I cannot log in, I go to my browser to see if the website www.opensubtitles.org is down, but each time it is NOT down!

Have had v2.0.11 installed for some time now, at least, it's reporting itself as v2.0.11, even though the download page says v2.0.10.

Just a thought, perhaps you could get the software to work with a more dependable, and faster, Subtitle website, like Subscene for example...

This is ridiculous, we pay for a program that we cannot use, because we cannot get connected.
Then we post about the problem and get no solution or answers???

I haven't been able to login using the program for a week now,
yet every time I go to the site in my browser, I CAN login.
What's going on developers?

There might have been a change to the way the site's API handles logins, because in the program Boxee I haven't been able download subtitles for about a week either.

That's right, currently there is nothing the developers can do cause it's a problem of the API of the opensubtitles.org server. SubDownloader, Boxee, and many other subtitle programs use the same source database.

They are posting their status fixing the problems here:
https://twitter.com/opensubtitles

We are working to find another 3rd party subs provider that will work better than the current one, OpenSubtitles.org

Their API is still down even after saying that they have fixed the problem:
http://api.opensubtitles.org/xml-rpc

Can you help with this problem?
