doodads

i don't know if the doodads like those that are in starcraft can be somehow clasiffied as patches or not, anyway that could be possible to be inplanted in stratagus? i mean for example, sprites (like units) that occupied tiles and acts like units but without any property of them (HP, damage, armor, voices, icons,...) it would be pretty cool :)

Just create new unit with no health and Indestructible, NonSolid, Building, IsNotSelectable, Decoration flags, then assign it to neutral player.

mmm but that would not affect the gameplay? for example if a would like to make a forest tree per tree (not tileset), every one of them would count as 1 singular unit, i think that stratagus has some kind of unit limits, and that would be affected by, is it?
