There is no official Stratagus forum. Maybe there are some unofficial, but I do not know. Here on launchpad is this answer & bug tracker. Also there is IRC channel #stratagus on Freenode (but I think nobody is using it).

Having a forum sounds like a good idea. We could try and foster a community of some kind.

I'm happy to set it up. What do you think Pali?

Forum is good idea. But Stratagus does not have domain and server...

Old sourceforce website is still working and Joris sometimes updating it.

I confirm:
- I am the only one on Irc (except logging bot), and I redirect to bazaar when necessary.

- I have still access to stratagus sourceforge website.

So is Kyran setting up a forum somewhere else to be linked on the sourceforge and launchpad pages?

That isn't a problem. I've got a few years of hosting, and a domain is only $5.

I'm thinking of registering stratagus.org/stratagus.com and putting bbPress on it.

I'm putting something together here: http://stratagus.miniature-railway.org

I'm going to try using Wordpress + bbPress

My plan didn't workout. I'll just use a standalone forum. Any suggestions?

Your guess is as good as mine, I just searched for 'free forums' on some search engines and found a few.

Oh well, I'll just go with good old phpBB.

I think that stratagus.org is good domain name. Also in past Stratagus had registred stratagus.org domain, see http://web.archive.org/web/20080515203150/http://www.stratagus.org/

Stratagus.org is already registred. What a shame.

Those phone numbers correspond to this site: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=41689365 so the patenting company mentioned there must be who owns the domain. It looks like kyran did a good job making the forum though, and the current URL is good enough for me.

Stratagus.org has undergone an update, a new theme and a new back dated post. It's also more popular than our launchpad site inthe search engines.
