AngleMeasure plugin on the Mac: How do you get it?

Asked by Brian Blais

I am trying to get the plugin for the Mac, for AngleMeasure. I notice on the wiki there is an entry for it, and a description, but no link to download. I notice two "pre-built" plugin options, for Linux and Windows. Is there a way I can get it for Mac? Is there the source available to compile?

thanks!

Yes, the source is available in Stellarium's code repository, but it won't do you much good - due to changes in the way the next version of Stellarium will handle plug-ins, the latest version of the plug-in is not compatible with Stellarium 0.10.2. If you know how to use Subversion, you can try to dig out the last compatible version from the previous revisions.

Stellarium 0.10.3 should be released by the end of January. It will come with several plug-ins, including Angle Measure.

If you want a test package, you can download it here: https://silverfields.webhop.net/PublicMedia/Stellarium.tar.bz2

You'll need to set use_glshaders to false in the main ini file, or stars & planets will not show.

Can you help with this problem?
