Windows 7 Loading

I can't get it to run in Windows 7. I have a 32 bit machine but when the prog loads the screen flickers like crazy and will not stop until I kill it in task manager.

Could please have a look at the related bug report I've just attached to this question? The comments propose workarounds that seem to work for some people.

Yes, turning off the default full screen solved the flicker
