How to determine time an object rises or is visible?

Asked by TimM

When I use the Find function in Stellarium and the object found is below the horizon, I am not able to find the time the object will become visible from my viewing location. Other programs will show the time the object rises from your viewing location and/or show the timed path of the object. Is there a way to do that in vers 0.10.2 of Stellarium?

Not, unfortunately.

A rough way to find out when an objects rises or sets is to increase time speed or use the time jump shortcuts (see the Help dialog), and see when it actually happens. Then you can use the "current time" shortcut to return to the present.

The only thing that comes close to the "timed path" feature is the "show planets' orbits" option - but it's only for planets.
