Displayed Time Zone with a lat and Long position

Asked by Viacheslav VOROBIEFF

Wikipedia says that the September 2022's Equinox will occur on the 23rd at 0104UT/Z at longitude 180 degrees, and the Sun’s right accession would be 12 hours. This implies that it will be in the Central Pacific Ocean.

Stellarium does not say anything about Equinoxes (and if it did, I missed finding it).

So, I set up latitude and long as zero degrees North and 180 degrees West for this date and time. But Stellarium displayed it as night. After adjusting the longitude to 137 degrees West and setting the date to 23 and time to 0104, the centre of the Sun appeared to be on the horizon and exactly/nearly 090 degrees. Resetting the date to the 22nd or to the 24th, the Sun at sunrise was not centred.

However, since I had NOT chosen a place from Stellarium's city compendium, I could not ascertain what Time Zone I was relying.

So, what time zone had I been seeing?

Secondly, does Stellarium intend to provide a feature where one can insert a position by latitude and longitude and thereafter it displays time zone (viz universal time zone)?
