SolarSystem.setMaxTrailPoints(max)

My question applies to:
setNumberIsolatedTrails

seeing the created patterns of sun, moon ect...

I cant seem to take control of the SolarSystem.setMaxTrailPoints(max) or adjust the fading

I need to see much longer term Lines to study the formations

So I guess I need control of .setMaxTrailPoints(max) or a fading control as a script control code

like

SolarSystem.setMaxTrailPoints(18000) to get trails not faded for 50 years and so on ....

Use of SolarSystem.setMaxTrailPoints() creates an undefined function error in my scripts

Do you have a resolution that would work?

Quote from description of setMaxTrailPoints() method: Set maximum number of trail points. Too many points may slow down the application. 5000 seems to be a good balance. The trails are drawn for a maximum of 365 days and then fade out.
