ASCOM telescope connection not available

Hi there!

First time posting here. I'm trying to connect my AZ-EQ6-GT mount to Stellarium using a EQDIRECT-USB cable. When I try to add the telescope in Stellarium, under 'Telescope controlled by:' I am not given the option to select ASCOM.

The only options I'm presented with for 'Telescope controlled by' are:
   * Stellarium, direct through serial port
   * External software or remote computer
   * RTS2 telescope
   * INDI/INDIGO
   * Nothing, just simulate one

I have already installed ASCOM Platform and EQASCOM.

I have successfully connected to and can control the telescope from my laptop using EQMOD which comes with EQASCOM. In an effort to solve this problem, I have also downloaded and installed the 'Synscan App', which I have again successfully used to connect to and control my telescope using ASCOM, but I still don't see ASCOM as an option in Stellarium. In both instances, I have these controller programs connected and running prior to starting Stellarium, as I understand is necessary to 'bridge' between Stellarium and the telescope.

Any suggestions?
