does stellarium automatically adjust future times for daylight saving changes?

if i want to see the milky way at a certain angle on a date after daylight savings time starts, will the time for that angle reflect the current time on that date if i check the time for that angle prior to daylight savings time?

In version 0.17 and later, time zone adjustment depends on proper setting of location. If you have configured a time zone which has daylight saving rules configured (and not just "UT-5" or so), this should work. In any case check the time display in the task bar.
