Adding oculars won't save changes, how to fix?

When adding or changing any oculars in the plugin they don't save and are lost. This is under Windows 10 Home -Version 1709, Build 16299.125 with Stellarium 16.1 with Oculars plugin 1.1.5. It's weird. It used to work just fine.

I uninstralled Stellarium and all files along with StellariumScope and all files. reinstalled Stellarium 16.1 and StellariumScope and all is well again.

I figured out what happened is that once I started the additional star catalog downloading it seems to hang up. So when I add hardware in the Oculars Plug-in and then save it when Stellarium exits it fails to write the new Oculars.ini file.

I did not need to reinstall, probably just restart Stellarium and add items to the Oculars, save and exit as usual and all was fine. But once the star catalogs are trying to download if they do not complete downloading before exiting problems occur.
