You need version 0.15.2 for macOS 10.10.

I got 0.15.2 but unfortunately couldn’t open the dmg or dmg.asc. The computer is a 2010 IMAC and the graphics may not be good enough but never got to that point.

Is there anything else I could try?

Thanks!

Hint: Stellarium-0.15.2.dmg - 168.7 MB

It downloaded at 10MB again.. The ones in the trash are also 10 MB or less. When the download started it was supposed to take 19 minutes but terminated early. Well, that explains why it wouldn’t open but no idea why it didn’t download. I have DSL (slow) but have downloaded very big files, I give up for now. Wanted to play with Stellarium but can do without.

Thanks for your help!

It's very strange - please try use other mirror to download: https://launchpad.net/stellarium/+download

Today I rebooted the computer 3 times because occasionally some memory gets stepped on, which could cause a buffering problem. Then I tried to download
Stellarium from another mirror, then tried downloading the latest version. Both were truncated at about 10MB so it’s not one particular download or one site. The OSX version I have now took more than10 hours to download so it’s not size either. Some kind of timing problem with I/O, maybe packets of data not being acknowledged fast enough? Not something I could fix. Will report it to Apple when I get a chance.

Thanks again!
