Toggling between cultures

Asked by Paul

I am really excited about the new Ojibwe constellations. When I have done presentations using the Native constellations in the past, I like to show the Greek (Western in Stellarium) constellations first so people see and hear something familiar. I then lay the Ojibwe constellations over the Greek. Is there a way to toggle between cultures without pulling up the interface window? I'm guessing a script could be written, but I am still new to the scripting with Stellarium. I would require a step-by-step written plan to get through it a couple times before I can start messing around on my own.

Thanks again for your help.

You can use the RemoteControl plugin and switch sky cultures in a webbrowser which your guests don't see. Or write a script.
There is a Constellation Tour script available, or other examples.

I think two scripts + hotkeys for those scripts will be very good solution here.

I use projector screen as extended desktop (not duplicate or mirror). Then run stellarium on projector screen and RemoteControl plugin in my ubuntu laptop monitor. And that works well.

Can you help with this problem?
