Line breaks in object names

Can I add hard line breaks to names of objects?

For example, my translation for Gemini is:

An Dà Leth-aon (Gaolag is Gràdhag na Caiginn)

because there are 2 different names for it, depending on dialect.

Can I translate this as:

An Dà Leth-aon\n(Gaolag is Gràdhag na Caiginn)

or

An Dà Leth-aon<br />(Gaolag is Gràdhag na Caiginn)

It's wrong way. For different dialects should be created a separate language files. Which dialects you are need?

We don't have enough dialect data to define the dialects and to know which name belongs where, there are also no ISO language codes for them. In general, the dialectal differences aren't big enough to warrant 2 completely separate translations, and we wouldn't have enough localizers to do the work anyway (there are only 2 active localizers for my language, and we do everything).

So, I'd like to stick to the same scheme as just agreed on in https://bugs.launchpad.net/stellarium/+bug/1608202 - the translations in that bug would also benefit from hard-coded line breaks when they get too long.
