Eclipitic J2000 from getObjectInfo()

Asked by Thomas Beane

Writing a script to extract object data. I have been using getObjectInfo() successfully. However, the documentation does not give a key for Ecliptic long / lat J2000.0 as shown on the main screen when an object is selected.

What is the key for Ecliptic long / lat J2000.0?

Thanks, Tom

OK, ecliptic coordinates will be available in next release.

Does Stellarium have a scripting method for converting between one of the coordinates available with getObjectInfo() that would get me the ecliptic coordinates?

Sorry, no.

Hint: You can fill requests for necessary features in the scripting engine.
