Force touch problem on mac

Asked by Julianklimt

I am astrophographer and use happily Stellarium since years to schedule my shootings.

Since I upgraded with the new mac book pro 13" retina, it's impossible to navigate (right/left Zoom in/out), I suspect it comes from the new force touch system from Apple, is someone experiencing the same issue?

Thank you for your support And BIG thanks to stellarium team for the great tool!

I have no issues at all doing this with my trackball. And the built in trackpad works mostly fine. It can be a pain to zoom with it.

Source isn't supported on the trackpads; only the iPhone 6S

Thank you for your feedback Treaves.

My business partner has a retina mac book pro 13", I tried to install Stellarium on his mac and it behaves the same way as on mine -> impossible to navigate with the new force touch trackpad. You try to make the map turn right, nothing happens for a few second and then it moves kind of randomly.

You said it's fine on your's? is your mac the last version with this force touch trackpad too?

I tried to reinstall a few times, any suggestions?

Can you help with this problem?
