Double Star Catalogue for Stellarium

I have been professional/amateur astronomer most of my adult life (I'm 56). Would it be possible to add a Double Star Catalogue to Stellarium with stars down to a magnitude of 10, or so, and with a separation of down to a few seconds of arc? I know you do have some stars that you list as double, but the information on Stellarium is rather sketchy, at best; yet there are many thousands of double stars within reach of amateur telescopes. Double star photography and viewing play a big part of my astronomical endeavors.

It's not an easy - adding of correct support of double stars. We have a plans for extend of support of various catalogs but it's task not for next release.

Can you help with this problem?
