date and time settings not matching location

Asked by Siobhan Houlihan

Hello,

I can't figure out how to properly set the date and time. When I go to manually change it, it remains in my system time, so the sun rises at 14:00 hours or something else far off if i'm in any other country than my own.

I feel like it has only just started doing this. Is there any way to get the time to match the location's time?

Thanks

Time is always in your system's time zone, unless you use the time zone plugin to configure something else.
This has been like this for years.

OK so I googled how to use the plugin, which I wasn't aware existed, and I figured out how to match the time and location. Thanks for pointing it out.

It seems a bit unintuitive and difficult to use just to predict what the sky looks like in another country, but it seems it's always been like that.
