6 channel planetarium with active 3d stereo

Asked by mmotos

has anybody experience on how to use stellarium software on a planetarium dome that has 6 projectors (full HD 1920x1080 each) . it will be using active 3d stereo glasses.
does stellarium supports active quadbuffer stereo ?
does stellarium support multichannel projection system where i have 1 pc per proyector ?

does it have limitations on the resolution it can output ? for example 4k..

no.
no. I wonder how stereo can work on a dome if people are looking in every direction/head orientation?
not yet.

we had reports of a 4k user who complained about small font on panels. Cannot reproduce unless I get a 4k system, but this indicates 4k graphics should work OK.

the customer wants to have stereoscopic view. no head tracking. i did see some support for stereo and it is opengl so it should no be very complicated to add quadbuffer stereo support.

any ideas?
